MICHELLE, Lead Psychic Investigator What brought you to this type of work? Growing up I always had an interest in the paranormal. I have always loved hearing ghost stories and this was never scary to me. My mother was also a psychic medium although she did not know it. She always referred to her gifts as "Gifts of the Spirit" and "Words of Wisdom" as described in the Bible. When I was growing up my mother would talk about seeing angels and those in spirit so, to me, these things were normal. Then my brother passed away in a car accident and I was devastated. To help through the grief I had a reading by a medium who brought through my brother, his personality, details about him she could not have known and, most of all, his love for me and our family. I knew he would still be a part of our lives and this was the most healing message for me. This is what started me on this journey of helping people with my mediumship abilities in the way that I was helped. I wanted to tell people what Spirit wants us to know - that we never die, they are always with us and see what is going on in our lives. I like to refer to this work as "A Voice for Spirit." I felt a gentle nudge from Spirit to learn and develop my psychic mediumship abilities to help others. I began to study and take classes on everything paranormal but my focus has always been on psychic abilities and the afterlife. I have been studying and doing this work over seven years now and there is nothing more fulfilling than being able to help people in this way. What do you do when your not connecting or investigating spirits? I work in School Transportation. I love to work out so I spend a lot of time at the gym. I have been into fitness and nutrition since high school so working out is one of my favorite pastimes. I enjoy spending time with family as I have learned over the years love of family is one of the most important things in life. I love to ride my Harley with my husband, traveling to historic places, the coast, and the mountains - living life to its fullest. How did you discover you were sensitive? I have always been empathic and very sensitive. I have always had a knowing that felt so normal to me I didn't give it much thought. When my aunt passed away I sensed her and what she wanted me to know. That experience really got me thinking, Wow, is this for real? That was around ten years ago. I feel that is when I first discovered I was sensitive. What do you say to skeptics? I feel skepticism can be healthy. Everyone needs to have some skepticism or we would pass off everything as being paranormal. Things happen that seem to be paranormal but when you take a closer look, they can be explained. This is healthy skepticism. You really have to check it out and see what is really going on. On the other hand, there are some skeptics that are so closed-minded that they will never see or experience anything because their minds will not let them. They will talk themselves right out of any paranormal experience. All I have to say is be skeptical but also have an open mind at the same time and just see what happens. You might be surprised. ________________________ |

JEN, Sensitive What brought you to this type of work? Jackie Meador of CCPI (Central California Paranormal Investigators) first introduced me to this kind of work back in fall of 2006. I have been investigating regularly ever since. What do you do when your not connecting or investigating spirits? I work full time in advertising sales for 2 wonderful publications World Of Wellness Magazine and Pollstar Magazine (a concert industry trade publication). I spend ample time volunteering for a no-kill local cat shelter (Cat House On The Kings) educating the public on the importance of spaying and neutering. I also foster kittens and help with the kitten adoptions at a local pet store every other Saturday. In addition to that I am a Reiki Master and Teacher attending massage therapy school. I find plenty to do to keep myself busy. Best of all I like spending time with my boyfriend Wade. How did you discover you were sensitive? I entered my first haunted house at age 12 and KNEW I could sense the spirit world. What do you say to skeptics? I usually don't say anything. I figure when and if they are ready to experience something paranormal then it will happen. What would you like to see accomplished by the teams work? Helping as many people as possible. __________________ |

DARCY, Psychic Investigator What brought you to this type of work? I recently lost my fiance; my best friend. I didn't know how I would find the strength to continue when I was given undeniable proof that his consciousness survived death. I received so much incredible proof that I had no choice but to act and learn more. I am writing a book to share my discoveries. It has become apparent through my research that our consciuosness survives death and we are a part of something bigger than we know. What do you do when your not connecting or investigating spirits? I am working in Marketing/Advertising in creative and production. I am also a mother of 2 beautiful girls. I love to write, paint and travel. How did you discover you were sensitive? I have had many premoitions and intutive thoughts throughout my life. I didn't classify it as psychic. I've always felt my gut instincts or my read on people were spot on. I have often gotten "a feeling" about something and acted on my feelings to discover it was indeed correct. What do you say to skeptics? Skeptism is practical and a good way to approach anything you haven't validated with your own experience. However I say the world can be so small if you limit your thoughts. Investigate for yourself, new truths are out there for you to discover. Socrates said it best when he said that the only thing he knew for sure is that we know nothing. I can't think of anything more exciting than learning and growth. Spark the wonder in your own life and you will embark on an unforgetable journey. __________________ |
What would you like to see accomplished by the teams work? I am so excited by the work of this team. I want to share the discoveries and continue the journey. Each day brings something new. Hopefully we can spark that youthful sense of wonder in others. ![]() |

SALO, Psychic Investigator What brought you to this type of work? I had dreams of a phone booth to the other side for years. Being able to speak with those that have passed via a physical device, electronic. Recently, I read of Franks Box and saw Mike Colleta's radio shack hack on how to alter a radio to get EVP'S (electronic voice phenomena) from people that have passed. I went to Radio Shack and purchased my first AM/FM radio and altered it in August 2009. Shortly after the first box was created, one of my patient's husbands suddenly died. He used to come in every week with his wife, I was shocked and saddened. The new altered box was nearby, and I thought maybe give it a try and digitally record a session to see if he would come through. Well, right off the bat, guess what, he did!? Wow, and after that I received a call for a spiritual reading from a woman who's best friend passed away. I said, " hey would you like to see if your friend comes through on the box"? She agreed, and guess what? Her friend came through on the digital recorder answering questions. That is when I started to do some research with the box. My guides said to do a web search for a woman in Fresno. They said type in Fresno Paranormal Research. Well CCPI came up and when I saw Michelle Tedrow's picture, they said "that's the lady, email her" Well Michelle responded and we became friends and later I was asked to become part of the team CCPI Lightworkers. __________________ |

BARB, Psychic Investigator What brought you to this type of work? I always loved going to historical places (Springfield, Illinois’ Old State Capitol and Lincoln’s New Salem) and old buildings when I was growing up because I could “feel” the history in these places. I started watching Ghost Investigation shows a couple of years ago and Salo started getting into the investigation side of it. I realized my fascination with the “history” of certain places was pulling me into this work. And now it is more than just "feeling the history" while investigating. What do you do when your not connecting or investigating spirits? I am owner of Ki To Wellness Reiki & Massage. I am a Massage Practitioner and Reiki Master Teacher. Keeping me busy after work are my 2 dogs and 4 cats…they keep me grounded. Salo and I also play music. I sing and play guitar…country, gospel, Irish, rock and original songs. I also enjoy reading and watching old movies on Turner Classic Movies and I have a nice little square foot garden in my back yard. How did you discover you were sensitive? It goes back to when I was growing up, going to historic places and “feeling the history”. I realize now that I was sensing residual and active energies. Over the years, these feelings have increased and over this time I discovered there was a reason for it: I am empathic, or I feel things. Also, on a previous investigation, I discovered that when I sing to spirits, most of them like it. I've realized that by singing or playing music, I can bring out more of a response while investigating. Everyone (whether on this side or the other side) responds to music. I guess I am a “Ghost Caroler”. What do you say to skeptics? Have at it. Through contrast investigating the paranormal can only get better and bring everyone and everything to the next level. What would you like to see accomplished by the teams work? I would like the team to bring Paranormal Investigation to another level…to bring things to the table that helps bring communication from the other side more effectively. The team blends a good mix of scientific principles and sensing the paranormal which appear to be unique in current investigations. I would like to see this team set a new standard and a new way of doing things in Paranormal Investigating.s |
